Hi, I’m Stephanie
I believe in treating the body as a whole, assessing diet, lifestyle, sleep, energy level, pain, emotional state, stress level, digestion, and more to establish an individual treatment plan specifically tailored to your needs.
From an early age, I had an interest in holistic health, specifically food as medicine. In my teenage years, I suffered from digestive and skin issues. I was given long regimens of antibiotics which only made the problem worse, so I sought to find natural ways to heal. Through diet and lifestyle changes, I was able to heal my gut.
After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in Sociology and a minor in Women’s Studies, I worked in finance and healthcare for a few years but ultimately knew my calling was in holistic health. I was introduced to Traditional Chinese Medicine through a friend and after sitting in on classes at Emperor’s College, I knew I had found what I was meant to do.
During my clinical training at Emperor’s College, I treated patients suffering from mood disorders, pain, women’s health issues, digestive disorders, fertility, hormone imbalances, low immunity, etc. In addition, I did an externship at the Walt Disney Family Cancer Center helping to relieve symptoms of those suffering with cancer. After 4 and a half years of studies, I graduated from Emperor’s College, Magna Cum Laude, and am now a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
